HITONOWA THE TEAM STANDARD
ENEOS Super Taikyu Series 2026 / Debut at Round 5 Autopolis
HITONOWA THE TEAM STANDARD (TTS) is pleased to announce that next-generation Honda-nurtured driver Yuto Nomura will join the team's ST-TCR class programme (Car #100 / Honda Civic-TCR FL5) in the 2026 ENEOS Super Taikyu Series Empowered by BRIDGESTONE. Nomura will debut with the team at Round 5 Autopolis, joining existing drivers Yosuke Yamaki, Shinji Nakano, Rintaro Sato and Koji Yamanishi to complete a five-driver lineup for the remainder of the season.
TTS already features a lineup drawn from the full arc of Honda motorsport: Yamaki, a class champion in Japan's premier Ferrari one-make series; Shinji Nakano, former Formula 1 driver and Executive Director of HRS Suzuka; Koji Yamanishi, HRS Suzuka's inaugural top scholar with a long career in SUPER GT GT500 and multiple 24 Hours of Le Mans starts; and Rintaro Sato, an HRS Suzuka scholarship holder. With the addition of Yuto Nomura, the wheel of Car #100 will now be shared by drivers who represent every stage of the Honda / HRC driver pathway — from Formula 1 to F4, and to the next-generation champion currently on the HRC development ladder.
@hitonowa_ttsYuto Nomura earned a Honda Racing School Suzuka (HRS) scholarship and made his French F4 debut in 2022, before switching to the FIA F4 Japanese Championship in 2023. He took the championship in 2024, then dominated the Super Formula Lights title in 2025 on his debut season — 12 wins from 18 races. For 2026 he steps up to the top of Japan's single-seater pyramid with the Super Formula Championship, alongside a full SUPER GT GT500 series programme — establishing himself as one of the most closely watched next-generation drivers on the HRC (Honda Racing Corporation) development ladder.

TTS is a racing team founded in 2026. We hold deep respect for the culture and spirit built into motorsport by those who came before us, and we take on the mission of opening a new horizon — beyond competition — into development and community.
"Standard" — a basis (Basis), a model (Model), a level to reach (Benchmark). Our pursuit of pace and victory is unchanged. Above that, in thought, in action, and in humanity, we hold ourselves to a standard we set for ourselves.
Beyond our Super Taikyu series, we push into karting, training methodology, and education — the horizon that lies further than competition. To grow alongside everyone we work with, and to honestly demonstrate the potential of motorsport, on and off the circuit, giving back to society. That is what THE TEAM STANDARD is here to become.
"We are deeply proud to welcome Yuto Nomura to the team. His consistent path — from scholarship to championship — is a Standard in its own right, and it resonates strongly with our team ethos. With him joining Nakano, Yamanishi and Sato, this team becomes a platform where the past and future of Japanese motorsport meet — and, together, we can write a richer story."
